THE WORKOUT

I've never engaged in reformer pilates; is that okay?
Our Sweat Pilates classes are perfect for beginners, and we warmly welcome anyone new to the world of reformer Pilates. You can rest assured that our classes are designed to cater to all fitness levels. We highly recommend our beginner class for an even more warm welcome; check below for additional information.

 

Should I sign up for an introductory course because I'm new?
YES! Attending our complimentary 20-minute Intro class is strongly recommended if you are new to Reformer Pilates. You'll get the most out of your sessions by getting to know your trainer, learning how to operate the Reformer, and modifying your springs. Make sure you arrive prepared and utilize our Intro class to provide the greatest experience possible.


What if I'm unable to do everything in class? I haven't worked out in a while.
We want you to feel right at home at Sweat Pilates, and our classes are designed to cater to all fitness levels. Our trainers are here to offer options so you can customize your workout to your needs and preferences. So don't worry - if you can move, you can Sweat!

 

Is there a class for beginners?
We recommend starting with our Sweat Stretch classes - they're the perfect introduction to the practice. To help you feel even more confident about the reformer, we suggest attending our free Intro class beforehand. Once you're feeling comfortable, why not challenge yourself with our Sweat Total classes? Our friendly trainers are always on hand to support you every step of the way.


Which SWEAT class should I take?
At Sweat Pilates, we provide a range of classes that concentrate on various facets of fitness, including cardio, strength, and stretching. You can discover your favorite class format by trying out a variety of them, and you might even decide to add a few to your weekly schedule. No two classes are ever the same. This variety keeps you from getting bored and reaching a plateau in your performance. Come exercise with us to keep your workouts fun and varied.


What age must you be to enroll in a class?
To participate in a SWEAT class, you must be 16 years of age or older.


Can I participate in a class if I'm expecting or starting up again after giving birth?
If you are pregnant and wish to attend our classes, please inform our front desk staff and trainer about your due date before joining. You can participate in classes up to 12 weeks into your pregnancy, but we do not accept new clients after this point. Regular attendees who wish to stay on for more than 12 weeks are encouraged to speak with our staff and schedule a private session with a trainer. if you are a returning or new post-partum client, please present a medical certificate demonstrating your provider's approval. Please be aware that we do not advise enrolling in classes six weeks after giving birth. Never be reluctant to get in touch if you have any queries or worries.


Do you provide private group classes or corporate events?
Yes, we do provide special group reservations. Even entire classes have been reserved for surprise parties, which we adore just as much as you do. To find out more, send us a note through the Contact Us page.

Have you got lockers?
Absolutely, there are security lockers in the changing area.


Should I bring my pair of Pilates socks?
All Pilates lessons require you to wear Pilate socks. You can buy Sweat Pilates socks at our front desk, but if you already have a pair, bring them with you. To prevent slipping on the reformer, just make sure they have a sticky sole and grippy socks.


Is water available here, or need I carry my own?
Within the studio, there is purified water. Bring your bottle to fill. As an alternative, you can pay a little fee to get bottled water.


Do you have showers and changing rooms?
Yes, there are changing rooms as well as showers here.


What do you supply?
Hair dryers and toiletries, hair straighteners, hair tongs, and hand towels are available in our changing rooms at no additional cost. There is a little fee for bath towels, which may be withdrawn from your wallet as needed.

 

BEFORE CLASS

How can I schedule a class?
We recommend booking up to 10 days in advance through our app or website. Drop-ins are available based on availability, but we advise booking ahead of time to avoid missing out. Payments can be made conveniently through the app or website.

 

What is the waitlist procedure?
You have the flexibility to book and reschedule your classes at your convenience. However, it's important to note that no cancellations or rescheduling requests will be entertained within 24 hours of the scheduled class. If you are on the waitlist and a spot opens up, you will receive an automatic confirmation on your registered email address. If you cancel your confirmed spot, the next person on the waitlist will be offered the opportunity to attend. Lastly, it's essential to attend your scheduled class as missing it will still count as a class.

 

What do I wear?
Choose comfortable clothing that won't limit your range of motion. shorts or leggings with a singlet or t-shirt. Pilates socks are also required, which you may purchase at the front desk or bring with you.

 

How soon should I show up?
If it's your first class, you need to come there 10 minutes early so you can get comfortable with everything at Sweat. Before class, our trainers will be there to greet you and help you with a few things. If you often attend, arrive early enough to change or stow your stuff. We begin just on time.

What should I do when I arrive?
If it's your first class, introduce yourself and let the person working the front desk know that you're new. They'll take care of you.

What happens if I'm late?
A mind-blowing, immersive experience is what we're all about. There will be no admission five minutes after the session has begun. This is done out of consideration for everyone and your safety.

There was a problem. Can I withdraw?For the sake of allowing someone else to take your place, if you must miss class, please do so at least 24 hours in advance for any kind of change in your booking.

When will I start to feel like a pro?

You're not the only one if you have some initial confusion in class. Our Sweat gang said that it frequently takes them some time before they have their "eureka" moment and everything begins to make sense. So, persevere. You can do this.
